The Narcotics Control Bureau summoned actresses Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh after their names emerged in late Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, newly emerged drug angle. Now as per reports in Republic, Mutha Ashok Jain, DDG, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) during his interaction with the media, stated no new summon has been issued to the actresses, after they were interrogated by the NCB on Saturday. All three actresses were grilled by NCB for long hours.

He also stated during his media interaction now the agency will study these statements given by the actresses as well as the other people questioned in this case so far and then decide their plan of action in this investigation. Sara and Deepika flew back from Goa after they received the summon from NCB and recorded their statements on September 26, 2020. While Deepika was grilled for more than five hours, Sara's interrogation went on for more than four hours and Shraddha was grilled for more than 6 hours.

Also as per reports in India Today, the Chhapaak actress broke down for three times during the question hour and also accepted Whatsapp conversations with Karishma Prakash which were circulated on the internet.
 
Followed by all the three actresses denying to have consumed drugs during their interrogation, meanwhile the DDG of NCB confirmed producer Kshitij Ravi Prasad being arrested after his interrogation.
